Takira yawned and stretched, the earliest of early morning was her favorite time of day. She stood up, flexing muscles that had gone stiff in the night. The sun wasn't up yet, but the birds had started to wake up anyways. She looked around, flicking curly brown hair out of her rounded face.
"So... What do you think eh Wolverton? North or South?" She asked herself. Her stomach wambled in response and she laughed.
"Alright then! Breakfast first!" She sat back down again, pulling a bag of fresh fruits and a knife from inside her two-tone blue backpack. The wolf in her growled and she growled back, she wasn't going to hunt where there were horses and kids everywhere. The wolf, called Paki by it's human self, grumbled, but relaxed. Taki grinned to herself, she was tuned in to the world. The air was fresh here, the sky was lightening as dawn approached, and she was content to watch as nature made itself known to anyone who still thought to look.
"What a wonderful day! I really just love being alive sometimes!" She bounced up, tossing the core of her apple into the fields for animals to enjoy. She picked up her backpack and slung it onto her back. She then adjusted the glasses that sat on the bridge of her nose and straightened her black baseball cap and started walking. True, walking right next to a fairly busy road in the half-light of dawn wasn't that smart, but heck if she cared. She began to whistle a happy little tune as she marched along. She wondered what kind of adventure she was in for today.

Was it morning already? Well, time to find some breakfast.
Zak jumped to his feet, the tiny bed squeaking in protest. His room was a mess, books strewn on the floor, some scrap paper lying about. It was more noticeably messy since the room was small but hey, that was why the rent was so cheap. Of course he did think that his room used to be a janitorial closet, before they gave up on trying to keep the place clean. He placed on some sneakers and was off and out of the room. He shut the door, not bothering to lock it. No one was going to find anything to steal in there.
He turned an alley, before changing into his other form, a black Siberian Husky.
He always felt that the people looked at him less funny when he was a dog. Plus they could easily dismiss him that way. Of course a few kids would stop to look at him, but he always hoped that there parents would stop them from coming near, or else he'd get mauled or something. His tongue stuck out, and his eyes looking around. He spotted a girl, munching on an apple. Boy did that look tasty. He watched her for a while, slowly getting closer. He didn't seem to be much of a threat seeing as she hasn't noticed him yet. He was planning on begging for the apple, when she suddenly tossed the apple away. Imagine that?
He quickly sprinted towards the apple. No way was he going to let this chance slide, it was free food. He had the apple in his mouth before any other animal even showed up, eating it as quickly as he could.

Taki paused to watch the black and white dog. Dogs weren't anything she wasn't used to, but something about this one made the wolf in her growl. She growled right back, silently of course. Why should her wolf be threatened by a dog? Then a thought hit her, since when did dogs eat fruit? She shrugged the thought away. Who knew what, or when, the dogs last meal had been. She kept walking, wondering why the sky seemed so strange today. Come to that matter... The air was awfully still. She paused, she'd done a report on tornadoes once, didn't the air usually get still if...? Nah... Couldn't be. The thought of danger rolled off her back like water off a rock and she walked along, avoiding getting too close to the road.
A squirrel scampered across her path. Her wolf whined, wanting her to shift and chase it. She forced the wolf down and kept going. I should have brought a camera... I bet I can buy one at the next town though. Her thoughts ambled along, a camera and a sketchbook would be nice, after all she'd see some interesting things she had a feeling.

{Here now, sorry for making you wait so long -__-;;} That wasn't too bad, the apple had been rather nice and juicy but of course quite hard to grasp while using only his jaw to hold, at the same time eat it. He was able to get chunks of the apple at the very least, leaving mostly the core of the apple, and slobber on whatever was left. He licked his jaw, the apple's juices clung to his fur.
Maybe she has more...
He quickly trotted towards her, putting into action his cute little dog act, or whatever he could pull off. Hey, when your hungry, your hungry. He sat on his butt, and lifted his two forelegs up, attempting to beg. His tongue was lolling out, and he kept his eyes on the girl in front of him. Surely she'd give him another, right? He added a playful bark into it, panting to show fatigue.
He was rather close, but still far enough for him to be confident that he could run away if she tries anything funny. He could have sworn she had a sort of wild scent about her...

She had only just registered that the dog was following her when it started to beg. She paused, looking at it.
"Hi there. I guess you really are hungry if you're following someone who's only carrying fruit." She stopped, kneeling so that she wasn't much taller than the dog and reached out to let it sniff her hand. She'd never been bitten by a dog before, but she was still respectful of their teeth and jaws after 'watching' her wolf kill and eat a baby cow. That had been the final straw that broke the camels back, turning Taki into a vegetarian.
"I bet you're hungry..." She murmured. She swung her back around and reached in. She didn't really have anything a dog would like, but at least what she had was food. She pulled out another apple and rolled it gently to the dog. Her foods were all organic, so there was no danger that he'd be poisoned by it. She didn't move, watching it. Her wolf wanted a fight, and she just wanted a quick anatomy study.
