Who brought the salsa?
Taki yawned and sighed it was stupid to need to be back here, but it was her mothers birthday. She sighed, now to go due south. She hated to go back after having gotten so far, but at least she could get a new wallet and grab some more stuff. She wondered how her new traveling partner was fairing back on the west coast. She sighed and ruffled her hair, maybe she could get it cut now that she was home. She never had trusted anyone but her mom to have scissors near her back.
"Geeze... and I thought Vegas was flashy." She muttered, walking past Times Square. She had found herself hating humans and their need for flashiness in the past few months. Wolves and birds, she and Schaun, they were simple. They avoided the flash and did only what was needed. Her jaws stretched open and cracked as she yawned, whining and squeaking at the end. She sighed.
'I wonder if a wolf would be able to go unnoticed if i stayed in an alley? I couldn't afford a hotel here if I wanted to. Bloody hell! I hate humanity anymore.' That was all she could really think or say about life. She sighed and stuffed her hands into her cargos pockets, walking along in a southerly manner.

.A APPLE A DAY! ---- He was gradually getting sick of it, every single aspect of being on another continent. The people were getting louder and ruder by the minute, and the cloud cover couldn't make up it's mind above his head, blotching sunlight where ever it felt fit across his sensitive skin. The Doctor could count how many months he'd stay back at home before accepting any of these damned conferences only with both hands. At least ten, probably a couple patient's worth of fingers, too. Ontop of it all, the shifters blue eyes were shifting between in and out of focus, creating a hazy stretch of building and shapes before him.
The man shuddered, rolling beads of sweat down the back of his neck, sweltering under the amount of clothing he had to wear in order to be somewhat protected from what the cloud cover would not. He placed a hand to the building nearest to him, in the narrow strip between large, window shopping sized panes, rather worse for wear. OOC;

Taki noticed the young man and his unusual appearance from across the street. There were so many scents in the air that she couldn't tell much about him, but curiosity got the better of her and she bounced across the street between the traffic stalled cars. One driver honked at her loudly as she walked in front of him. She simply flaunted her hips and kept going. Her gait wasn't quite a skip, more a dancing sashay, but it was still much bouncier than a walk.
"Hi there! You okay Mister?" She asked, pretty much appearing next to and slightly in front of the pale young man. She was smiling happily, but inside of her Paki was clawing and biting to get to the surface. Something about this man disturbed the extinct wolf and made it angry. Taki ignored her wolf, always in a good mood and more than happy to help others. Besides that this person was obviously a stranger here, just as much so as she was anywhere besides DC.

.A APPLE A DAY! ---- Wiping a hand across his face, Ash hadn't seem the girl come up on his side, fingers dragging across his temple as she spoke. "Hm?" His pale hand fell to his side, revealing his blue orbs from behind his palm. Standing straight, the man shook his head, drifting his clammy fingers into the ridge of his pocket. "I'll survive. Just over heating a tad," the taller of the two reassured, his free hand bushing the brim of his hat upwards once more to shadow only the top most of his face. He sighed, the strangled sound coming out more like a shudder, wondering if he looked as out of place as he felt. The people brushing past on the crowded walkway paid no head, rather not caring about two conversing beings.
"Thank you for the concern, though, I assure you I'll manage to get somewhere eventually," he joked, pulling his collar outwards to remove the clinging fabric from his neck. In all honesty, he wasn't quite sure which way he'd managed to come from - he'd intended to turn around but the street junctions had thrown him off, what street don't create a loop if you kept turning 90 degrees at all intersections? His sanity was escaping him. OOC;
