Name: Taye Montgomery
Alias:Ace
Gender: Female
Age: 22
View: Outcast
Species: Striped Hyena -Hyaena hyaena-
Human:
Ace has short light brown hair, a beige really. It often sticks up in awkward angles, and you can find dirt and grass, untidy and ill-kept. Lean, and tall, her height around 5'2. Her limbs are long in length and she often looks like a stick figure from afar. Up close, you can see some muscles and scars, scars of small and medium length that have long since become something of her past, nothing really eye popping. Her eyes are dark brown, always bright with excitement and curiousity. Her entire outfit, ranges in different colors of green. Her pants are ones you might identify with Army camoflague, ones with the lower pockets, located near her knees. She wears black Doc Martens, often laces loose. Moving upwards, she wears a white t-shirt and over it, a vest, again, ranging in different shades of green. Her vest is clean, without pockets, loose around her form. On her arms, instead of fancy tattoos, she has black bands, sliding up and down her arms, much like the stripes on her animal form, the striped hyena.
Animal:
Large triangular ears sit upon her head, a light tan color turning to a black color at the back. The tan color continued downward on a slope to Ace's muzzle where it completely diminshes in the tan color, turning into black. This covers her entire muzzle and eyes, moving down her chest but never making it there without a few interruptions of tan. It stops, the tan taking over as her lower chest and upper stomach fur is longer. This tan colors slowly fades to a white as the hairs on her pelt become longer thinner, covering some of the black stripes on her fur. The black is completely hidden on her tail, simply white/tan. Her paws, long and lean, are decorated in thick bands of black, with thin tan stripes leading down to tan tipped paws. Beneath her muzzle buries large, strong teeth and powerful jaws, jaws strong enough to break bones in one bite. She weighs 57 pounds, having all the basic features of a hyena, sloping back, medium skull.
Personality:
Distant/Confused: Ace's thoughts could be described as blind runners. They hae no tracks, they have no destination in mind, often colliding into one another, piling on top, one by one. Such thoughts consume her mind, and she could sit for hours, just thinking. It's probably what she does best, and it's one of her favourite things to do. It doesn't matter what she's thinking, thoughts are always welcome. Because such thoughts are consumed and dominant in her mind, conversations are droned out, the world isn't there. Consumed in such thoughts, she is often jolted out of such dazes by walking into busy streets or loud sounds. It's hard to talk to Ace as you say one word, the word creates a new thought or awakens an old one, so the rest of the sentence is nothing but a buzz in her ears.
Anti-Social:[/b] Ace is anti-social, as her thoughts make it hard to communicate with but not only that Ace dislikes those who interrupt her sweet thoughts. She sees as inconsiderate, rude and when awakened from her trance, she frowns and tries hard to geT the person to go away. She doesn't care who you are or if you need her help, she enjoys the silence and her thoughts and tries not to get to active in the 'real' world. The 'real' world holds too many problems, too many people, so she keeps to herself.
Silent:Even if you managed to get Ace out of her own little world, she won't speak a word, and if she does the sentences are short and sweet, just the way she likes 'em. She might be listening when you talk, but don't bother waiting for a reply as Ace will either give you a nod, a shake or a glassy look that tells you she's gone from reality and into her own. If she has anything to say, she'll twiddle her thumbs or shuffle her feet. Talking is awkward for Ace, causing her to blush when she talks or mumble something incoherent. That's the company silence, but when's she alone or in the company of good friends, another silence is there, having a more confident aura.
History:
I was born, and you know, everything was going well. I was the younger sister to my older brother, John. Father, a hidden shifter and my mother hidden away in the house because of uncontrolled changes, I relied on my brother, John to help me, perhaps a little too much. We had inheritated our families genes, I, I took after our mother, a striped hyena while my brother was a scarlet macaw, taking after our father. We adpated quickly to spending our days our doors or going to work with our father, when our mother changed. But our mother was slowly dying and she finally passed away when I was 11, my brother 15. He took the world on his shoulders, our family as my father mourned, a growing drinking habit. One day, at 14 years old, came home to find our father gone and our bags packed. My brother hovered near the door-way, face cut up and bruised. From the door-way I could see broken glass and a sweet liquid. That's the day we ran, ran away. For the most part, we lived near the warehouses down by the docks. Some were taken by gangs, which we often fought and squads would come down there every now and then. Our first day there, John looked at me, and told me If I wanted to, I could change my name. We had left home so there was not point in keeping our names. We could be who-ever we wanted now. So, I became Ace, and he, Snake. We were a group of two, maybe three with every new-comer but soon or later, it would be just us again. As I tried to make us a living, my way of putting of it. In reality, I was stealing and decieving. I learned some tricks, stealing food and saving money. While I did this, Snake got himself involved in the gangs around the warehouses, doing stupid things and then hiding them from me.
One day, I arrived at the warehouse to find my brother, bleeding. Apparently, he had gotten into a few things and when the boss got angry, he brought out a knife, and well, you can guess the rest. I tried to help him, honest, but the wound was deep and he had already been bleeding and pale when I arrived. I was too late. I left his body there, hoping the police would find him, identify him and get him to my father. Probably not, but it didn't matter. I never returned to those warehouses, never went back to that city in general. Saving up the money, I got my stripes, to match my other form. I kept it quiet, still going by the name Ace. Even though I was quiet when I was younger, my thoughts were scrambled and they never corrected themselves.
Weapons and Equipment:
Ace isn't really a fighter, she usually fights in her hyena form. A small jacket knife is hidden in an inside pocket of her vest, rarely used.
