.A APPLE A DAY! ---- Ash hadn't considered any of the few choice jobs that would make his vocal preparations useless, as the image of the woman working around as a thief fit perfectly within his mind. The thought kept his the corners of his mouth still curled in the same amused state, but sky blue orbs dimmed behind the half frame glasses.
Still highly aggravated, he was confused as to what was flustering her anymore other than pure impatience. The shifter had gotten the information she had wanted earlier, but apparently that was satisfying enough. The doctor figured he was stretching his time thin now, too, between her company and the allotted space away from the convention.
"You must be quite skilled," he all but purred, trying to sound purely thrilled on the notion despite his brain being anywhere but. "Then you must know how the whole city is laid out, to travel in the nooks and crannies... or am I stereotyping?" Broad smile, it was just flat conversation. OOC;

ANIKO let's get it started, let me see whatcha got
While he was talking, Aniko was thinking of fares. Bus, taxi. Anything to get her out of this place. She was done with concrete jungles and crowded places. She wanted to be back with the hillbillies and the rest of them. Where you saw a bear outside, it was perfectly normal.
Skilled? I guess. She thought. All any thief needed was slick fingers and silence. But he was a doctor, he had lots of cash. Stereotyping it She answered. It was simple, she supposed, something that Nolan had taught her, before they parted ways.
You bein' a doc an' all, I'm guessing you have cash to burn? She asked, eyebrows raised. This would probably risk her another question, more time to spend here with this nameless stranger who had barged in on her peace and silence. It didn't matter, not really. Sure, they were loners out there, Aniko being one, but each person had some wanting of another human's company. She hated it, but she did miss the mere thought that there was someone there. It was better in the wild, because you were surrounded by souls, humans and such. There, it was much better. Forget the rat-race, go back to the woods and country.

.A APPLE A DAY! ---- Ash cocked his head, glasses slipping a bit forward on his pale, linear nose. "Pardon me then, I'm not used to the profession - haven't been exposed to much," the doctor gestured towards himself, and his skin, creating a generality that he was meaning his condition. He reached out and caught the object on his lap, bringing his hat back on top of his head in a relaxed movement as to not alarm the girl anymore than he'd done before with his antsy gestures.
"I'm on the fence on what you're asking," he stated plainly trying to sound as un-intimidated as possible, face darkened from the added shade of the brim. "Is that a threat, or an asking for help?" Ash straightened, looking up at Aniko, blue eyes set firm with his neutral tone. The albino figured she was weaving a web for either of the two - the first he was set on avoiding, and although the second was rude and blunt to point out the shifter before him was obviously lacking a permanent home, he'd feel heartless not to offer relief.
